Recycling of drilling fluids
Our recycling units enable the efficient reuse of drilling fluids used during the drilling process. By utilizing high-quality, high-capacity hydrocyclones, solid particles are effectively separated from the liquid.
This allows the bentonite-based drilling fluid to be reintroduced into the process without any loss of quality. This not only ensures a more efficient workflow but also contributes to a significant reduction in water consumption of up to 50 percent.
With this sustainable solution, we limit waste, lower costs, and reduce environmental impact.

How does the recycling unit work?
During the drilling process, the used bentonite is vacuumed from the borehole and pumped to the recycling unit. In this installation, the sand present is separated from the bentonite.
After this separation, the quality of the bentonite is checked and, if necessary, supplemented with new bentonite to ensure the correct composition and ratio are achieved again. The conditioned bentonite is then reintroduced into the drilling process.
This process takes place continuously during drilling, ensuring that the bentonite is reused efficiently and the drilling process remains optimal.
